Sonya Kashmiri has worked in the fashion industry since 1997 after she graduated from Cordwainer's College. She first worked as a freelance designer and focused on sports footwear, designing for labels such as Decathlon and Acupuncture.

In 2005 Sonya returned to university to study for a Masters in Accessory design at the London College of Fashion where she is an Associate Lecturer now. Whilst studying at LCF she began developing her unique sense of style, incorporating construction techniques she learnt as a footwear designer, with her ethical approach to design and manufacture. The leather - a veg tan leather, promotes an age-old method of tanning without chrome that matures and darkens over time, giving an enduring depth of luxury to the product range. Every collection uses traditional hand making skills with an emphasis on clean lines and understated chic.

For the last three seasons, Sonya has presented her label to the worlds fashion press and buyers at Estethica, London Fashion Week. Her press to date includes: Marie Claire, The Evening Standard, Wallpaper, You Magazine, Natural Health Magazine, as well as a number of online fashion sites. Sonya lives and works in South London.
